VivaScope 1500Plus & VivaScope 3000 allow dermatologists to create an “optical biopsy“ in real time. Cellular and nuclear microstructures will be displayed in thin layers and “in vivo“ – living and untreated tissue. A substantial number of biopsies can be avoided in favour of the patient. Both devices are usefully utilized for medical and cosmetical research.

VivaScope 2500 shows “ex vivo“ digital images of the different layers of the skin in real time, which means without dissection of the removed tissue. The images allow the surgeon and pathologist a decision on further procedures during the process of operation – either ending or resuming operation.

MAVIG GmbH sales territories for the VivaScope and the VivaNet are Europa, Russia, Near and Middle East, and North Africa.

VivaScopes are in use in the medical research, in hospitals and in the cosmetics industry.
